1975 Porsche 911 light weight Vin: 9115200272 Name: Audrey This 75 911 S “light weight” was purchased from a well-known race shop in CT. It had belonged to one of their Service customers and was maintained and upgraded at their facility. The 3.2l motor was reported to have only 54k miles when transplanted and was serviced before being installed. When we purchased the car in 2016, a leak down and pressure test were completed to confirm quality of internals. It is coupled with the original 915 transmission which is in good condition and equipped with a Wevo shifter. The exhaust was gutted and then fitted to look “outlawish”. It has just the right rumble to it. The body was converted to a long nose (69-73 body) using fiberglass parts to conserve weight. These lightweight parts include front fenders, hood, rear ducktail, and front / rear bumpers. At this time, the front fender gas door was removed and located to a “center fill” through the hood. At this time, the tank was cleaned and repainted. Door handles were upgraded to the drilled lightweight style by Rennspeed Motorsports and finished in black. The headlights were upgraded to LED and the guts were painted black to match the theme of the car. They have daytime running lights and turn signals integrated. While upgrading the headlights, we also added original CIBIE driving lights. The suspension has all new Bilstein shocks and has been serviced and cleaned. 16” Fifteen52 wheels were special ordered in gray with black inlay. They are the same size and offset as Magnus used on his 277 car. They’re wrapped with Toyo’s Proxes. They are a softer compound tire for great gripping. The interior sports the “clean look”. The dash has been outfitted with a new retro radio which is equipped with aux for newer phones, etc. New headliner was installed in black and the seats were upgraded to OMP Classics. They fit the car perfectly. The steering wheel was replaced with a MOMO Prototipo style with little offset. Driver and passenger kick boards were purchased from Rennline and installed. The door panels were upgraded to look like the RS and sport a red pull. The Porsche script and race meatballs are in flat black vinyl so can be easily removed (hopefully not). There is a small 3.2l sticker on the rear window and Tag stickers on each fender. There is also a small spot that was touched up on the right rear (about 1/4 “) but is mostly covered by the Porsche script.
